2. Definitions
This policy is primarily based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG). Terms such as “personal data”, “processing”, “profiling” follow Art. 5 revDSG. For EU/EEA visitors, definitions of the GDPR (Art. 4) apply additionally.
3. Legal basis & purposes
We process personal data, as necessary, for the following purposes:
- Providing the website and its functions
- Communication and handling of inquiries
- Rental contracts, orders, delivery, invoicing
- Security measures (e.g. fraud prevention, access protection)
- Legal enforcement, evidence, compliance with obligations
- Optional: analytics, reach measurement, marketing (only with consent)
Legal bases: consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations. For EU/EEA visitors, Art. 6 (1) lit. a–f GDPR applies.
4. Hosting, server logs & security
Our website is hosted on our own server in Switzerland. When visiting, server log files are processed automatically (IP address, date/time, URL, referrer, user agent). These are used for security and error analysis.
We use TLS/SSL encryption (“https”). Technical and organizational measures protect your data according to the state of the art.
5. Cookies & consent management
We use cookies to provide the site (necessary) and – with consent – for analytics/marketing. You may adjust your preferences at any time via the cookie banner.

6. Contact & communication
If you contact us (e.g. by email or form), we process your data to handle the inquiry. Mandatory fields are marked accordingly.
7. Customer account & rental/order processing
During rental processes, you may optionally create an account. We process master data (name, address), contract and transaction data, communication data. Purpose: contract performance, customer service, invoicing, legal duties.
8. WooCommerce & RnB (rental system)
We use WooCommerce together with the RnB (Rental & Booking) plugin to manage items, availability, reservations and contracts. Data collected: name, contact, billing/shipping address, rental duration, prices, payment status.
9. Payment processing
Payments are offered via credit/debit card. Processing is done by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.
Necessary data (name, address, payment info, amount) is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store full payment data. Stripe may transfer data outside Switzerland/EEA with appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
10. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address exclusively for this purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time.
11. Analytics & marketing
We use – only with your consent – tools for reach measurement and advertising (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). Details are provided in the cookie banner.
12. Social media
We maintain profiles on platforms such as Instagram or TikTok. When visiting, the privacy policies of the respective operators apply.
13. Disclosure to third parties / processors
We only disclose data to third parties where required for contract performance (e.g. payment, hosting) or legal obligation. Data processing agreements exist with service providers.
14. Data retention
We retain personal data as long as necessary for the purposes or as legally required (e.g. tax retention 10 years).

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. Please contact the above address.
16. Obligation to provide data
Some data is required to conclude a contract (e.g. name, address). Without it, we cannot provide rental services.
